Zara Basic Shopper Bag

Why hello, fancy seeing you here? ;)

About a month ago, I ordered this Zara bag, I'll put the link HERE.It is £19.99 and when I bought it, it only came in black but now it comes in cream and black however I still prefer the black.

Inside, on one side there are two mobile pockets. Does anyone actually put their phones in these pockets?! I normally put my vaseline and bus pass there! On the opposite side, there is a bigger pocket. I love that it's burgundy on the inside, just adds a touch of colour.

It can be worn on your forearm with the smaller straps or on the the shoulder with the long strap for a more casual look. For the first week of college, I took this bag with me and I found that it got really heavy when I had my folders for my subjects and refill pad to write on and tuna sandwich and Fanta twist and Doritos so I had to stop using it, which is why I think it's a bag designed for a casual day out.

OOTD | Gimme Midi

About a month ago I wrote about how my mum is not a very big fan of dresses above my knee and I couldn't find a lot of knee length dresses on the high street so I bought a skirt from asos.com (it was too big so I returned it) . Well I bought a dress from their website and I'll put the link HERE. I think most sizes are still available and it's in the sale & delivery is free!

I wore it to a friend's brother's birthday party, I didn't get to wear the heels as I was too busy helping around and it wouldn't have been very glamorous to end up on the floor multiple times but when my lovely sis took the pictures I put the heels on.

So this is the dress! It's a stretchy material so it's really comfortable and I love that it's not revealing anything but my legs, yet it still looks good! Also I love the versatility of this dress as it means I can also wear it casually with flats and a cardigan, a leather jacket or as a skirt by wearing a cropped top over it.

This is a close up of the print of the dress, it's in a bandana type print.

I also wore these simple pearl earrings from Primark as the dress itself is already quite eye catching, this ring which came in a pack of 8 from Asos and this silver bracelet from Matalan!

Shoes are from Primark also, you can get black shoes anywhere anyway!

Just a smile ;)

If you look good, you feel good! So even if you're just at home and not going anywhere, you can just try things on in your wardrobe and see how it looks so that when you do have an event or outing coming up then you're BAM! Ready to go ;)

Songs/Vidoes of the week!

Below are 3 videos that have inspired me this week!

 Britt Nicole  "All This Time"

I LOVE this song! God is with us through it all, no matter the situation.

The Script "Hall of fame"

I'm a massive The Script fan & this song really encourages me & I hope it does the same for you. "You could be greatest, you can be the best. You can be the king kong banging on your chest!"

Meet Jillian Jensen - The X Factor USA

I couldn't stop crying when I watched this video. It's so emotional and I can really empathize with Jillian Jensen. Don't let anyone bring you down!

Thanks for reading, listening and watching ;)

Bish, Bash, Polish!

Why, hello there you beautiful person!
Today, I am going to write about nail varnishes I have recently bought. You know when you paint your nails a gorgeous colour & all you want to do is show them off? WELL THAT'S ME at the moment! I don't wear nail polishes a lot but when I do, I definitely feel better. Even now as I'm typing this post and seeing my nails, I'm complimenting my self on them!
Now on with the post eh?

Ooh, one thing I love about nail polishes are their names because they are usually a play on words. I find them punny (get it? like funny but with pun) Now that you've recovered from your laughing fit, let's get on with it...

HOW DO YOU LILAC IT by Rimmel London
I think we need a moment of silence for this nail polish I'm about to write about!
*moment of silence*
The most beautiful pastel purple I have ever seen. I know pastel colours was something that was more popular in the summer but I paid for it so I'm going wear it! Truthfully, it does actually dry in 60 seconds, I counted. Although, it's supposed to be a one-coat nail polish, I had to put two coats on as it was too pale with just one coat.

DOUBLE DECKER RED by Rimmel London

This is the first red nail polish I've ever bought and wow! Have I been living under a rock to not have realised what a beautiful colour it is? It's vibrant and makes me feel classy & sophisticated.

SKY HIGH by Rimmel London

This is more of a nail varnish for the autumn I'd say. It's a lovely greeny blue. Very much different to 'How do you lilac it' as I don't have to put on a second coat (I think because it's a bolder colour, it appears well on my nails with just one coat) but I do anyway as I find it lasts longer. I don't think it's made my nails 5x stronger, it's just made them look prettier!

JEWEL TONE by L.A. Colors
Months ago, I thought I was cool and threw this next nail polish on my bed side table. It landed on the floor and smashed. Needless to say, it was a sad, sad day. So I went into Hair City and bought another one. This nail polish is amazing, especially on top of black nail polish to get a starry night sort of finish.
My only criticism is that it takes absolutely ages to take off!

Don't they all look like they're friends taking a picture together or is it just me?

Be thankful.

Most of the time we complain about things that in actual fact, we should be grateful for.
I know I complain whenever my mum asks me to iron her uniform for work but in actual fact, I should be thankful that my mum has a job & I have an iron to iron her clothes with & that I'm strong enough to help her & I have a house which has electricity!
The list goes on and on. I have a lot to be thankful for and I'm sure you do too!
That is all for noww!

Say my name, say my name...correctly.

My full name is Oluwatosin Olajumoke Ayomide Ajoke Mayowa Adedoyin Atoke Babalola.
My first name is Oluwatosin which means 'God is worthy to be praised', now THIS is a bit of a mouthful so I shorten it to Tosin which is pronounced toe-sin...simple enough right? WRONG.

When I was in year 7, I got on my school bus and a guy asked me what my name was to which I replied Tosin. Toasting was what he heard..what mother would call their child toasting? no offence if your name is toasting, it's a beautiful name.

My friends now call me toast, toasty, toasting. I'm trying to get them to call me T DAWG but it's not catching on *sigh*

So yesterday, I went to work and told two different people my name and they interpreted it as  Toastina & Chelsea. Yes, you read right. TOASTINA. CHELSEA. LIKE COME ON NOW?! Toasting is one thing but Toastina. The girl who called me it was very nice so I just answered to it anyway, there was just no point correcting her.

Just wanted to share that with you & know that you're not alone if you have long unpronounceable names.

I feel your pain.
