Hellloooo!

I am currently typing this from my accommodation at university and it feels a little bit surreal to be here as I visited this university twice, seeing it as a place where I longed to be and now I'm here!
I love my flatmates, we get on so well and I can really connect and relate with each one of them.

It's been a long time since I last posted on my blog which I do apologise for but I just really haven't felt like putting anything up to the honest and that's why I haven't. A part of me did consider not blogging anymore but I realised that it is something I cannot give up as of now. Even if people stop reading it, I see it as a diary or a bit of a time line. I see the way things have changed like my hair, my style, my hairstyle (lol) my fashion decisions and stuff like that.

I rarely ever read my posts back because I sometimes cringe at what I write but when I do,  my blog allows me to remember what 16-year-old me had going through her mind. Certain lines that I do read trigger a memory of where I was when I typed that blog post, what I was doing, who I was with etc Even the pictures trigger happy (or unhappy) memories of the day I had.

So many things have happened in the past month and even this month that have made me appreciate my life so much more and also made me realised that life is so fragile so endeavour to enjoy every moment that you can. I also know that my faith in God has been strengthened through what has happened over the past few month.

In relation to my outfit, I am loving my new white leather converse from Office. There is something about all white shoes that just adds an extra something to an outfit. So I decided to take some pictures to share them with you because they are gorgeous.

Ooh before I forget, I have braids as you can tell from the pictures. I got them done by my friend, Victoria, about a month ago. Before this, I had not had any form of extensions for about 10 months and it had been almost 2 years since I had gotten full braids. However, I am so happy with how they turned out and its good to give my natural hair a break.

Thanks for reading
