Rimmel Metal Rush Nail Polish in Royal Blue.

Heyy!
I've been eyeing up this nail polish for about a month now but because I wasn't too sure what the colour would look like on my nails.
However yesterday, I was in Asda and they had it on sale for £2.98 instead of £4 so I took that as a sign that this nail polish and I were meant to be.

I like that it's different to any other nail polish I have ever tried. Sometimes it looks green, then blue, than purple then grey so I couldn't really describe what colour it is but it definitely isn't royal blue!

After applying it,I didn't really like it to be honest but when I went to college the next day, it looked really good! I was so intrigued by my nails as the colour seemed to change every minute. Also, sometimes it has a sort of ombre effect as it gets lighter towards the tip of my nails.

I'd definitely buy this nail polish again as it seems like it could go with so many outfits and it gives my nails the 'edgy' look.
I had to put on 3 coats to get the colour to show on my nails as it was very transparent with just one.
It dries very quickly also.

One special way to put a smile on someone's face this Christmas

Helloo! Happy Saturday :)

I am someone who likes to appreciate the people around me whenever I can. Seeing people smile and knowing that you've put that smile on their face is one of the best feelings!

Every Christmas, I write Christmas cards out to my friends and put candy canes inside. This might not sound very special but I personalise each card and try to round up the year that we've made it through together.
I write inside jokes I have with that particular person and try to just put down as much as I can so that maybe in 5 or 10 years when they come across it again, it can put a smile on their face once again.

I went into Poundland and bought a pack of 15 candy canes for £1 but that was their last one so I had to Home Bargains and buy another pack of 12 candy canes for 79p.

I also got my cards from Home Bargains which was 20 for £1.

I then put the candy cane and the card inside the envelope and it's ready to be given to that special person!

I love writing the cards as it allows me to reminisce about the moments we've shared and I always have a good laugh when doing so.

This is an inexpensive way to put a smile on someones face so I thought I'd share it with you. It might seem cheesy, but the word "cheesey" sums me up!

OOTD | Fall for Forest

Jumper - H&M
Earrings - Republic
Belt - New Look
Leggings - H&M
Cosy socks - Primark
Ankle boots - Matalan
Bag - H&M

Just a quick post about what I wore to college the other day!
I adore the colour of this long sleeve jumper dress so much. I bought it with an H&M gift card that a friend gave me for my birthday. I love that it looks like it has a snood attached to it as well.

I love the juxtaposition of the forest green jumper and burgundy socks which both seem to be stable colours for this autumn and winter. Can I just say that these are the cosiest socks I have ever owned! I also have to mention that I do have tights underneath my leggings because it is freezing outside.

Today I bought 27 candy canes to put into my Christmas card. I cannot wait to write my cards.

Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

I have been using this foundation since July so I thought I'd do a review on it now.
The foundation itself is £19.50 but I had to buy a pump for £3.00.

The staff at the Mac counter were friendly and asked me what I wanted once I got there. On the first day I went, I told the lady I wanted Studio Fix Fluid  and I wanted to know what my shade was. After applying it to my face she said I was in shade NW55, however that didn't look right to me. It looked a little ashy & I just didn't like the look of it hence why I decided to go again just to see if I'd get the same shade. I didn't...

The second time, another lady said I was in NC50 but this shade didn't look right either, it was extremely light and made my lips look really dark, like my head had been put on some body else's neck as the colour was so different. It was horrendous.

The third time a different lady said I was in a shade NW50 which is what I got in the end as I was finally happy with it. It seems really bizzare that my shade was 'different' each time I went, however I had to make sure it was right because £22.50 is not money that I want to be wasting!

On the pump itself, there is a 'lock' on the lid so that when it's in your bag, you don't accidentally press on the lid and get foundation everywhere. When I want to use the foundation, I press and twist the lid and it unlocks.

There is also a lid for the pump so even after locking it, there is a lid to pop on top just to cover up the little hole at the top of the pump where the foundation comes out of.

I'd say it provides a medium to heavy medium coverage.
When I first started using it, I always felt like there was a layer of foundation on my skin like it was on top of my face but not blended in, if that makes any sense? I don't know if this is because I'd just started wearing foundation properly so I wasn't really used to it.

Now, I am more used to it and I don't feel like anything is on my face really. I do use 1 or a maximum of 2 pumps because I think a little goes a long way with this foundation and I'm not really feeling the cakey look.
The smell is not very appealing at all but I got over it, once it's on my face I can't smell it any more so it's not an issue for me.

I do use a powder on top to set it as my face gets oily during the day.

Once this is finished, I want to try out another foundation because I don't think this is the best foundation for me and I don't really have much else to compare it to.

Ooh I also want to get Mac Mineralise Skin Finish as everyone say it's worth the hype!
