Big Hair, Don't Care & 7,000 views!

I GAT ME SOME NEW HURR!

Since I can remember, I've always stuck to braids because I don't like change, unless the change is that Zac Efron proposes to me then that's change I love.
Once I've found a good thing, I just stick to it. However, a friend inspired me to do a style similar to hers but mine ended up quite different to hers but I still like it!

The hair is called Aftress Hair Water Bulk and it was £3.49, I used 4 packs of it which is what gives it so much volume.

It took about 7/8 hours to do this hair (my bum was hurting like no man's business) but it gave me a chance to catch up on Nigerian films and soap that  love. The lady who did my hair was really nice and patient with me and gave me some scrumptious Ghanaian food :)

When the hair was done, it was mahoosive. It was soo big and I had to avoid my dad for the first week at least because he's more of a gentle and simple man which is everything my hair isn't.

I have been sleeping with a scarf on my head (not my foot? haha) so it's gone down but the curls are still there, alive and well!

Although I will probably not be doing the exact same hair next as I'm trying to do a range of different hairstyles rather than sticking to the same one, I still absolutely love this hair and I think it suits my face quite well if I do say so myself!
I've never received so many compliments about my hair so this has encouraged me to try out new hairstyles :)

So now I'm going to bombard you with pictures I've taken of me because my inner poser comes out once the camera comes on ;)

Also, about 2 weeks ago, I had over 7,000 views! I'm soo grateful to everyone who reads my blog and I appreciate each and every view!

Maybelline the Falsies Volum' Express Mascara Flared

Hellllooo guyss!
I am back with another review about this Maybelline mascara.
I love love taking the pictures for my blog, don't they look fantabulous?

Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express Mascara (what a mouthful!) is £7.99. It is  designed to lift and separate the lashes to give a flared effect.

On a whole,  I do like this mascara. It lengthens my lashes and gives them volume which is great however it drys very quickly so I find that when I'm applying it I have to be quick else my lashes become hard making it harder to add any more product onto it.

I like the colour (pinky purple) and the wings on the packaging.

I read mixed reviews about this before buying it and found that some people preferred the original one to this one which is the 'flared' one. I have not tried the original one so I would not be
able to compare the two.

I don't love the smell as it is quite strong but it doesn't matter as once it is on the eye, you can't smell it at all. I also haven't had any problem with it flaking and getting on my contact lenses which is great!

I would probably buy this mascara again however I do feel that I could find another formula which is better for my lashes.  So far, this is my favourite mascara!
Over on my Youtube channel, I have uploaded a couple of new videos. I put up a vlog of My easter weekend away! and my March favourites :)

Tumblr Thoughts #4

Heeeeeeeeey :)
I'm back again with some pictures from tumblr. A picture can say so much so I don't feel the need to write about each one. These pictures do tell a vague story about me. I reblog things that are cute, funny or evoke a certain feeling within me. Enjoy!

Sleek Pout Polish in Peach Perfection

Hello people of the blogger world!
On the 21st of March 2013, Trinity Leeds opened....in Leeds.
I went to the opening of Trinity with two of my friends. Don't tell anyone but we skived college.  We were apparently on the news as there were cameras everywhere (I don't think my mum saw us so I'm not in trouble, yaaay) and we were definitely one of the first hundred to step in there. I'm so proud of us.

It was absolutely freezing though.

There were various offers on that day.
A friend of mine received a chocolate bar which had 20% off Warehouse; the first 20 people that went into Internationale to purchase an item won £50 and I was one of the first 200 to buy something from River Island so I got a goody-bag and one of the item inside it was this Sleek Pout Polish.

Sleek Pout Polish is a tinted lip condition that nourishes and feels like a lip balm, whilst providing the look and colour of a subtle gloss.

It is £4.50 and can be bought at Superdrug & Boots.

I love the packaging of this and that you can see the colour through the glass. I even like the font on the lid!
It smells really good also, I've not smelt any of the other ones so I do not know if they have the same scent but this one smells good enough to eat!

I personally wouldn't wear this alone, I would put it over a nude/pinky lipstick like the picture below however a friend of mine who got the same pout polish prefers to wear it alone.
Another thing is that I'm going to get a lip brush for it as does get little specs of dirt in it when I use my fingers to apply it.

It is very pigmented and moisturises the lips.

I have never been interested in these pout polishes before but I'm definitely going to try other shades out.
I also uploaded a Get ready with me & OOTD to my YouTube page.
